City professor elected as fellow of Indian National Science Academy for venom therapy research

Prof. Ashis Kumar Mukherjee, director of IASST Guwahati, has been elected as a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) for his groundbreaking research in snake and scorpion venom therapy. His work has significantly improved antivenom quality and opened doors for drug development targeting metabolic disorders. He has received numerous national honors for his work.
