Cleveland Cavaliers lock in ‘architect of the East’ as Koby Altman signs extension through 2029-30

The Cleveland Cavaliers have extended Koby Altman’s contract through the 2029-30 NBA season, rewarding him for his role in building a team that achieved a 64-18 record and the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Altman, who has been with the Cavaliers since 2012, also saw general manager Mike Gansey and assistant general manager Brandon Weems receive extensions.
