Contract worker loses palm, 3 fingers on other hand in BSL accident

A severe accident at Bokaro Steel Plant left contract worker Debashish Roy with devastating injuries on Thursday. Roy, 45, reportedly lost one hand at the wrist and three fingers on the other while working on a tap hole closure. He was initially taken to Bokaro General Hospital before being referred to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata for further treatment.
