Dakshina Kannada activist Mahesh Shetty Thimarody questioned over remarks against BJP’s BL Santosh

Mahesh Shetty Thimarody, an activist, is under investigation by Udupi police. The case relates to an alleged provocative speech and derogatory remarks. These remarks were posted on Facebook. Rajeev Kulal, Udupi BJP Rural Mandal President, filed a complaint. Police booked Thimarody under relevant sections. Thimarody was escorted to Brahmavar for questioning. He was not arrested. Fifteen police vans accompanied him.
