Department upholds BDA order to demolish illegal building

Authorities have upheld the demolition order for an illegal five-storey building in Andilo, Balianta. The housing department dismissed an appeal by the promoter and homebuyers, citing a lack of BDA approval and mandatory NOCs. The building was constructed using an old gram panchayat plan before the area came under BDA jurisdiction.
