Do free rural service for three months to get degrees, SC tells PG medicos

Supreme Court mandates 95 medical students admitted irregularly in Puducherry to serve three months of pro bono rural service for their degrees. Meritorious students who lost seats in 2017-18 will receive Rs 10 lakh compensation plus interest. The court acknowledged college responsibility while allowing degrees post-service.
