ED raids Chennai, Kancheepuram in money laundering probe linked to NHAI and SIPCOT land deals

Enforcement Directorate is conducting searches at 15 locations in Chennai and Kancheepuram as part of a money laundering probe. The investigation is linked to the acquisition of land for NHAI and SIPCOT projects, stemming from an FIR regarding fake pattas of OSR lands. Hundreds of crores were allegedly claimed as compensation based on forged documents.
