Elon Musk appoints former Morgan Stanley executive as CFO of xAI

Elon Musk has appointed former Morgan Stanley global head of tech M&A, Anthony Armstrong, as the new CFO for his AI company, xAI. Armstrong will also oversee financial operations at X, stepping in as xAI’s previous CFO departed due to internal clashes. This move coincides with xAI reportedly seeking a $200 billion valuation in a new funding round.
