Encroachers and illegal hotels evicted from govt land in Bhitarkanika

Authorities in Kendrapada district have launched eviction drives against land mafia and illegal hotel and shop owners encroaching on mangrove forests near Bhitarkanika National Park. Three hotels, shops, and houses were demolished after encroachers failed to provide ownership documents. The administration aims to reclaim land for development and tourism infrastructure.
