A former zonal commander of CPI (Maoist), Sunil Ganjhu, was apprehended in Hazaribag district. Wanted in 40 criminal cases, Ganjhu confessed to extorting coal mining companies and businessmen for years. His arrest is considered a significant blow to the outlawed outfit.
