Ganjam police seize firecrackers worth over Rs 65 lakh ahead of Diwali

Ganjam police have seized over Rs 65.43 lakh worth of illegally stocked firecrackers in the past month, registering 50 cases. The crackdown, which began on September 15 and will continue until October 20, has led to two arrests and notices served to 50 others. Aska police led the seizures with Rs 9 lakh worth of crackers.
