Garhwa villager trampled to death by jumbos

In Garhwa district, Jharkhand, a 25-year-old man from a vulnerable tribal group was tragically killed by a herd of elephants near Baherwa village. Ramesh Parahiya was returning from a market with five others when the attack occurred; the others escaped. Authorities have sent the body for post-mortem and pledged compensation to the family.
