Gaya DM’s fake account raises security concerns

Unidentified cybercriminals have created a fake account impersonating Gaya District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar on an instant messaging platform. The account, using a Vietnamese phone number and the DM’s photograph, sent messages to officials, raising concerns ahead of crucial assembly elections. An inquiry has been launched to identify the perpetrators.
