George Floyd case: Tou Thao freed from prison, reunites with his children and hugs them
Former Minneapolis officer Tou Thao has been released from federal prison and reunited with his family. Thao, who was convicted of aiding and abetting manslaughter and federal civil rights violations for his role in George Floyd’s death, expressed a desire to shield his children from his incarceration. A fundraiser has been established to support his reintegration.
