Govt forms audit wings in 10 more departments

Odisha government has expanded its internal audit system by establishing wings in 10 additional departments, bringing the total to 38. This move aims to strengthen financial oversight, identify irregularities, and ensure better utilization of public funds. The expansion involves reallocating 85 audit personnel to enhance transparency and fiscal prudence across state departments.
