The GST Council’s recent tax cuts, approved on September 3rd, have sparked confusion regarding milk prices. While Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) milk will see a price reduction due to a GST rate cut from 5% to nil, Amul has clarified that there will be no change in fresh pouch milk prices.
