Gujarat HC to conduct judicial work on working Saturdays to address decade-old case backlog

The Gujarat High Court is taking steps to reduce its backlog. It will hold special court sessions on Saturdays until October. These sessions will focus on criminal appeals that are over ten years old. Twelve special benches will be formed for this purpose. This initiative supplements the existing Wednesday hearings dedicated to old cases.
