Following an SMS detailing poor food and irregularities sent by a land scam accused, six jail wardens, including the jailer, were suspended and six contractual employees terminated. A retired jail constable was arrested for allegedly conniving with staff to provide facilities to influential inmates, leading to heightened security and a jail-wide alert.
