HC refuses to interfere with Centre’s decision on Ordnance Factory Board

The Madras high court has upheld the Union government’s decision to convert Ordnance Factory Board production units into seven defence public sector units. The court dismissed an appeal by the All India Defence Employees Federation, stating that such policy decisions, especially concerning national security, cannot be stalled by technical objections regarding pending industrial disputes.
