HC seeks govt response on lawyers’ panel highlighting lapses at SCB

Orissa High Court has demanded explanations from the government regarding severe patient care deficiencies at SCB Medical College and Hospital. An advocates’ committee report highlighted critical space constraints and manpower shortages, particularly in the burn and neonatal units, and even patients receiving treatment on the floor in the bone marrow transplant unit.
