Indian gymnast Pranati Nayak suffered an ankle sprain during the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships vault qualifying round in Jakarta after landing awkwardly on her first attempt. Despite discomfort from hip issues, she was unable to complete her second vault and withdrew from the event.
