LiAngelo Ball, from the famous Ball basketball family, switched from the G League to music. He felt the G League’s $3,000 monthly salary was insufficient. Ball signed an $8 million rap contract with Def Jam Records. His single became popular. He was also named in the 2025 XXL Freshman List.
