U.P. Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh rebuked a PWD engineer for prematurely inaugurating a bridge in Ballia without informing him. Singh accused the engineer of acting under the influence of a BSP MLA, alleging the unauthorized opening was a deliberate attempt to deny him credit.
