‘I want justice’: Maharashtra woman who ‘married’ corpse of lover claims cops abetted murder; father, brothers arrested

A 21-year-old woman in Nanded symbolically married her deceased lover’s corpse, alleging police officers encouraged her brother to commit the murder due to caste differences. The 20-year-old victim was allegedly shot and bludgeoned to death by the woman’s father and two brothers. An investigation into the police officers’ alleged involvement is underway.
