In pan-India SIR, no need for documents at enumeration stage

The Election Commission has altered norms for the pan-India Special Summary Revision (SIR), eliminating document submission at the enumeration stage. Electors not linked to previous SIR will receive notices to prove citizenship, with Aadhaar accepted solely as identity proof. The process, spanning 103 days, will see concurrent notice, enumeration form decision, and claims/objections handling.
