INDIA bloc, social outfits to jointly oppose SIR in Jharkhand

INDIA bloc parties and trade unions in Jharkhand have unanimously agreed to oppose the special intensive revision of electoral rolls. Citing concerns over migrant workers’ ability to provide documents, they plan protests and have urged the state government to pass a Vidhan Sabha resolution against the SIR.
