Indian Railways unveils festive round trip discount scheme to ease holiday rush

The Ministry of Railways has introduced a ‘Round Trip Package for Festival Rush’ offering a 20% discount on return journeys booked together during the festive season, from October 13 to October 26 (onward) and November 17 to December 1 (return). This scheme aims to manage passenger traffic, optimize train utilization, and encourage advance planning.
