Indian Reserve Battalion constable arrested for Dowry-related murder of wife

An Indian Reserve Battalion constable was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife over dowry demands and then setting her body on fire to stage an accident. The accused confessed to attacking his wife with an iron rod and later burning her body. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint alleging dowry-related murder.
