International training programme on sericulture and silk industry begins in Mysuru

CSRTI Mysuru commenced a month-long international training programme on sericulture and silk industry under the ITEC scheme. Thirty overseas trainees from eight countries will receive hands-on training in mulberry silkworm rearing and exposure to the latest technologies. The programme aims to support sericulture development in developing nations and create skilled manpower, with participants also gaining exposure to Indian culture.
