Jharkhand Governor Approves Fee Regulation Bill for Private Educational Institutions to Curb Arbitrary Charges

Governor Santosh Gangwar has approved the Jharkhand Professional Educational Institutions (Fee Regulation) Bill, 2025, passed by the state assembly in August. This bill aims to curb arbitrary fee hikes by private institutions by establishing a fee regulation committee. The governor also approved amendments regarding teacher qualifications and non-teaching staff appointments.
