Jharkhand High Court Takes Action After Viral Video of Jail Inmates Partying

Jharkhand High Court has taken suo motu cognizance of a viral video showing jail inmates partying inside Birsa Munda Central Jail. The court summoned the Inspector General of Prisons and demanded footage of the incident. Two inmates, allegedly involved in a liquor scam, were seen dancing. Two jail officials have already been suspended for dereliction of duty.
