Jharkhand Launches Statewide Survey for Transgender Welfare and Livelihood Support

Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari has mandated a statewide survey in Jharkhand to identify and integrate transgender individuals into government welfare programs. This initiative aims to address the hesitation among transgender people to disclose their identity, which hinders their access to essential services like identity cards, reservation benefits, and healthcare schemes.
