Jharkhand Raj Bhavan renamed Lok Bhavan

Jharkhand’s Raj Bhavans in Ranchi and Dumka are now officially Lok Bhavans, following a Union Home Ministry directive. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar stated the renaming aims to enhance public accessibility to the governor’s office for addressing grievances. The iconic Ranchi Lok Bhavan, built in 1931, boasts a British design adapted for local climate.
