Joe Thornton officially joins San Jose Sharks as Player Development Coach

Hockey Hall of Famer Joe Thornton has officially joined the San Jose Sharks as Player Development Coach and Hockey Operations Advisor. General Manager Mike Grier had hinted at this move earlier this offseason. Thornton was present on the ice during the Sharks’ development camp in early July, offering guidance and experience to prospects.
