Karnataka: Committee demands Rs 2cr budget allocation for Kambala

Kambala, a traditional sport, has received government recognition. The Karnataka State Kambala Association is requesting a Rs 2 crore budget for 25 upcoming events. A new bylaw will be drafted to prevent animal cruelty and ensure timely completion of events. The association is also seeking sponsors and exploring welfare schemes for jockeys.
