Kerala becomes 1st state to eradicate ‘extreme poverty’

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced the state is free of extreme poverty. The opposition United Democratic Front rejected the claim as fraud. They boycotted the assembly session in protest. The Chief Minister responded that their actions reflect their own behavior. He stated the government implements what it says.
