Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan comes out against SIR plans in Kerala

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has strongly criticized the Election Commission of India’s decision to conduct a Special Intensive Revision of the voter list. He questioned the timing and motive behind this move, especially with local elections approaching. Vijayan expressed concerns that the process could be used to indirectly implement the National Register of Citizens.
