Kothari completes full marathon at 90 degree north pole

Ram Gopal Kothari, an entrepreneur from Kolkata, made history by becoming the first Indian to complete a full marathon at the Geographic North Pole on July 13, 2025. Enduring –8°C temperatures and challenging icy conditions, Kothari finished the race in just over eight hours, driven by a promise and a belief in India’s global presence.
