Lalu fields Tej’s sister-in-law from Parsa in bid to reset family ties

RJD chief Lalu Prasad has nominated dentist Dr Karishma Rai, sister-in-law of estranged son Tej Pratap Yadav, from the Parsa assembly seat. This move aims to appease his caste base and mend ties with his ‘samdhi’ Chandrika Rai, despite a controversy surrounding Karishma’s husband’s Election Commission role.
