Landslide disrupts road connectivity between Ganjam and Kandhamal districts

A massive landslide at Andharkote in Odisha’s Kandhamal district has severed road connectivity between Ganjam and Kandhamal. Continuous rain triggered the event, damaging 25 meters of the highway and stranding vehicles. While no casualties were reported, authorities are diverting traffic through Nayagarh. The affected highway is crucial for several Odisha districts and routes to Andhra Pradesh.
