Lift malfunction at Malkangiri district hospital causes panic but no injuries reported

A lift malfunction at the Malkangiri district headquarters hospital in Koraput caused panic on Thursday night. The lift, overloaded with 27 people, broke down between the first and second floors. Hospital staff quickly responded, manually opening the lift to rescue everyone trapped inside, with no injuries reported. Repairs are scheduled to begin once a mechanic arrives from Visakhapatnam.
