Man from Jajpur district dies days after getting injured in sloth bear attack

Chinmaya Jena, a 27-year-old from Jajpur, tragically died from injuries sustained in a sloth bear attack last month. The incident occurred while he was near a forest in Dalijoda range. The forest department will provide his wife, married just four months ago, with Rs 10 lakh compensation, while warning locals against unauthorized forest entry due to increasing human-animal conflict.
