Man gets life imprisonment for raping 4-year-old girl

A 61-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the rape of a 4-year-old girl in Kendrapada. The court also imposed a Rs 10,000 fine and ordered Rs 7 lakh in compensation to the survivor’s family. The conviction followed the testimony of 29 witnesses, including the victim, and a confirming medical report.
