Man produced in Tripura court for ‘killing’ 14-month-old granddaughter

Tripura Police have presented Jaynal Uddin, accused of murdering his 14-month-old granddaughter, before a North Tripura court. The infant’s body was discovered buried in a paddy field after she was taken for a stroll by the accused. Uddin was apprehended in Assam and has reportedly admitted to the crime.
