Mangaluru: Man’s land records misused to secure bail; case filed

A Puttur man lodged a complaint. His land records were fraudulently used as surety in a criminal case. His property was attached for two lakh rupees. He discovered this on his Record of Rights. Another person, also named Abubakkar, used his land document. This secured bail for an accused. Police registered a case for cheating. Investigation is in progress.
