Manipur bans hunting as Amur falcons arrive for roosting

Tamenglong district in Manipur has imposed a complete ban on hunting, catching, killing, and selling Amur falcons following their arrival. The district magistrate ordered all air guns to be deposited with village authorities for safekeeping. Violators will face strict action under wildlife protection laws.
