Manuel Frederick, unsung Olympic custodian, passes away

Indian hockey legend Manuel Frederick, a goalkeeper who represented the nation at the 1972 Munich Olympics, has passed away at 78 after a battle with cancer. Known for his ferocious style and lightning reflexes, Frederick also won a silver medal at the 1973 World Cup and inspired younger generations of players.
