A massive plantation drive was organised in Varanasi as part of the Plantation Mega Campaign 2025, with a target of planting over 18 lakh saplings in the district. The campaign was inaugurated by planting sacred Triveni trees, and aims to increase Uttar Pradesh’s forest cover.
