Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma laid the foundation for the reconstruction and beautification of Tura’s historic cenotaph, honoring the Garo Labour Corps of World War I. The project aims to preserve and enhance the monument as a place of remembrance and pride for the Garo Hills.
