Meghalaya regularises 1000 nurses

Meghalaya’s cabinet has approved the regularization of nearly 1,000 ad hoc nurses appointed before December 2007, mirroring a 2022 decision for other employees. This move ensures parity and fairness for nursing staff. The cabinet also approved the Meghalaya State Education Commission Report 2025, along with new norms for municipal services and amendments to building bye-laws and health service rules.
